NB Pedestal

I keep getting errors with my Chroma no images when I stack them that I’m clipping black data. I’m assuming it’s because of the dark br of nb images. I’ve bumped the pedestal up to 750 and still get the error. Should I keep increasing the pedestal? That seems high

    It could also be a calibration error (and oversubtraction of the dark frame).

    I believe that is the error, however a pedestal should correct it right? I’m just not sure how high u can make the pedestal before something else happens

    No... a dark frame oversubtraction (due to a calibration issue) would not necessarily be fixed by adding a pedestal. First, please make certain the dark frames are actually viable/valid for your data. What is the value in your dark? What is the value of the sky in the raw data... etc etc.
