Hi Adam. Let me start by saying that I am a great fan of your CCDStack tutorial and it has helped me immensely over and over again. Still I have two questions that I hope you can help me with.
1. I create my flats using an electroluminescent panel of fixed intensity. My exposure times for each filter in seconds are as follows:
L 1x1 3.2
R 2x2 17.0
G 2x2 4.7
B 2x2 5.4
I have been applying a master bias to each flat as I create the master flat. Is that still good enough for the 17 second red flats or do I need to apply a master dark of the same duration? I did a comparison and the two flats did not appear the same - the one with the master dark was brighter.
2. Should I create a repair map from the master bias or from the master dark?
Thank you.
Alan
