  I still haven't watched all the videos.  I find I need to rewatch videos several times before it sinks in.    I will watch this and will let you know if I can improve the image.

  To summarize my video. You just use a subset of your data for the stars where the spikes are reasonably aligned. You can stack these images- extract the stars...and use these stars with your starless version of the image. That is the entire technique summarized. 

  
  

  I do think I have a point concerning my content. You have a particular issue right? You will not find answers when your issue goes a step or two beyond what generally is explained by others. Other content creators may indeed have simpler explanations- but there is also a place for more in depth content that I provide.

  
  

  You might argue I could have explained the information in a simpler way than I do. Maybe. I do not see other content creators doing it though in an apples-to-apples comparison. That is because it is hard and takes considerably more effort (and perhaps knowledge).

  
  

  In my original video on this I process the image and then show this issue of spike rotation and how I fixed it. Many people would argue that is a tangent. I should stay on topic and not go off to explain other stuff in detail. Yet here we are with someone that has a similar issue. The real problem I often face is that I show how to fix problems but people are usually not interested in watching videos on problems they *do not* have. But ho ho... when suddenly they do have the issue.. .it is nice to see some ideas on how to fix it.

  Oh, I like your content very much.    It just takes me a while.   That is funny about people and problems they don't have...I assure you,  whatever it is, I have that problem.

  
  

   I watched the video and I must have misunderstood .  I thought I was suppose to throw out all the registered files that had the rotated star spikes.... When I did that, I liked my stars but the nebula looks disappointing.

  
  

  In your last post I think you said I should combine the nebula(no stars,  all files) with  the stars from (subset-no rotation spikes.)    So I have to go back and try again!
