Bad BlurXTerminator and NoiseXTerminator Results; Why?

edited February 18 in PixInsight
I combined three drizzled color channels (S, H, and O), which include StarXTerminator and LinearFit applications. Once combined, I applied NarrowbandNormalization on the resulting image. Then, I attempted to execute BlurXTerminator and received the following result when using the real-time preview.

The following image shows the result of applying NoiseXTerminator.

Then, I tried NoiseXTerminator to see if the issue would occur again, and a similar result was received when using the real-time preview, which you can see below.

I realize that I should run BlurXTerminator on the individual color channels; I was simply exploring when operating on the combined SHO image. However, similar results were received when applying BlurXTerminator to the individual color channels.

Can you help me understand why I am seeing the results above?

  • Whoah... nope. I cannot help here. You need to connect with Russ through his site.
This looks like a graphics issue to me... but wow.
