Multiscale Gradient Correction

Hi,

I get this error when I try to run Spectroscopic Flux Correction

*** Error: Insufficient data: only 0 sample(s) are available; at least 5 are required.

<* failed *>


Any ideas?

    Well...  like any of the stellar photometry tools... it depends on the data and the GAIA catalog. 

    What were you taking a picture of....?
    What color band...?
    How many stars in the picture...?
    What is the FWHM... ?
    Did you platesolve *with* PI?

    Hi,

    It was a luminance master of NGC 1931. There were over 2K stars with FWHM of 2-3 and it was plate solved with PI. What filter do you specify for a luminance master?

    Just specify "L" I believe. 
    Unstretched?

    Unstretched was the key. I had been using a non-linear image. It works fine now.

    Ah yes... this is a photometry tool (e.g. measuring FLUX). Requires linear. Basically any tool that measures stuff... basically needs a linear image.
