Image Solver Fail

  I recently purchased a SeeStar S50 & bought PiXinsight, also the RC-Astro plugins.

  I am trying to process M33, close to 900 10 sec .fit subs, following your instructions in Fasttrack.

  I have had success on another image (M45), but can’t get past Image Solve on this one. I keep getting failure (no stars detected, need 6 stars) in the registration process. Even if I try to plate solve a single image outside the registration process.

    The stars appear very out of focus, that is why the solver is failing.

    I do have to agree with Jeff. You can force PixInsight to recognize these are stars...but it will be a fight for both the ImageSolver and image registration. 

    If you want to go through the exercise of proving to yourself it is the star focus that is an issue... you can run BXT on a frame... and then find both ImageSolver and Registration work. 
    This isn't really a solution though...just diagnostic.
