Mosaic keyword in WBPP

edited October 2024 in PixInsight
Hi Adam,
would you mind giving an opinion? I have run mosaics in WBPP before and not had this happen. I used a keyword (CASS) to separate out 15 panels in WBPP. The calibration and debayer went fine. But when it gets to register, it seems to be registering all frames together rather than per the keyword.
When I run a single panel by itself the registration process takes about a minute.
So I have deduced that WBPP is trying to register all 15 panels into one by the amount of time it has spent on this task.
Any dideas?
thanks
Malcolm

  • ok, so I think it's a limitation in the computer.
I changed it to process just two panels instead of all 15 and it registered them separately.
I will run a smaller data set, thats all (I think)

  • Hmm... just to be clear. You did change the registration method to be "By Keyword" correct?
I would not expect this to be a limitation of your computer.

Auto by keyword is the answer

  • Yep... that is the answer... glad to help...didn't want to assume.
