History Explorer

I often clone a file.  The history is not transfered.   The history Explorer starts over with "initial State".  Is there someway to get that history over to the clone?

    The Initial State is a process container containing all the processes that were in the history of the image from which you made the clone. Double click the Initial State to open the process container and you will see all the constituent processes.
