Problem installing the new ImageBlend script

I am having trouble adding the script to PI. I have added the link to the repository, saved, and then ran the update. The update showed new items, which I accepted and then restarted PI. But after the restart, the script does not appear under Utilities. I have screen shots attached if they will help. I consider myself competent in this area as I have added numerous items to my PI repository.

    Competence aside, you did not indicate you also attempted to add scripts that may exist on your machine but not be registered by PI for some reason.

    Under the scripts menu, you will see "Feature Scripts" . CLick this and navigate to the scripts folder on your machine (in Windows it is C:\Program Files\PixInsight\src\scripts which it defaults to).

    Click "Add" and see if there are any unregistered scripts.

    Thank you, Adam,

    I was not aware of this function as I had never had an added script fail to register.

    I ran the search for the image blend script, and it ran ... see screen shot.

    Next, I used the Windows File Explorer to check ... and the files appear to be there ... second screen shot.

    I found a dialog box hidden behind the Feature Search that said the process had found 1. I ran the repository update, closed and restarted PI and now everything is there.

    Yeah. Your script was there all along (and I do not think the subsequent update was necessary, but it didn't hurt anything). The add script just forced PixInsight to register the script as existing (since for whatever reason that did not happen when you last did an update).

    The lesson is...if your script actually exists on your computer (as you showed in the PI folder) then use the Add of Feature Scripts to register it.

    This is a different issue than those people that literally do not download a script during an update.
