Video buffering

Hi Adam,
Currently I'm using a AT&T Hotspot on my smart phone to have any internet service here in rural New Mexico. While most all videos I.E youtube etc play without buffering, yours seem to buffer and sometimes require refreshing (starting over). Can anything be done about this on my end to improve the playback?

    Hi Bob,

    I fear not. Usually it is not buffering though. Typically it is just the beginning and if you slide forward in time and then back... everything is OK. The issue is that the videos are maintained on Amazon Edge servers- and apparently if there isn't a server near you with a copy of the video... there will be bumpiness getting it from a faraway place. 

    The sure fire solution for anyone that has this kind of issue is to download the video directly (you need to get the Right Click Access from my site). Then of course..it will play smoothly from your machine. 

    You might wonder why I do not just YouTube everything? It would be hard to manage uploading these large videos to YouTube- and they have restrictions that might be difficult to deal with... and of course I have no control over the videos! It was a decision I had to make early on...and I not certain if it was the correct one. 

    Originally I wanted the security of controlling all of the content and how it is made available- but then the requests for downloading them was so strong I ended up opening everything up and losing all obvious security.

    Hi Nicholas,

    You can add this feature once you are a member (instantly). 
    Go under your account and add a new subscription. It is a one-time thing though.
    Please let me know if you have an issues.

    (as an admin of the site, I do not see this "My Account" link on my screen...but I believe it should be on yours when you are logged in).
