iMac unable to update GHS script or process UDATE
I have an iMac M1 processor running Sonoma 14.3.1. I am following the Stretch Academy lessons but get the following error when I try to UPDATE from the PixInsight "mange repositories" using the following link "http://ghsastro.co.uk.updates" The error message states:
"Insecure Update Repository Protocol
You have specified an insecure protocol (HTTP or PTP) to connects with this update repository. Insecure update repositories are not allowed by current preference settings."
I have changed my security settings using the startup security utilities. Apparently this will allow updates from non apple 3rd parties. yet, I still get the restrictive message. Anyone have any workarounds for Mac users?
