STF Target Background for NB Colour Mapper

The default setting is 0.25.  Is this a bit high for the resultant colour mapped image?  Thank you.

    It is a value just for visualization of the real time image preview.
    The actual values are unaffected by this. You need some method of displaying linear images in the tool... and not loading up a black image. 

    I guess I fear from your comment you feel this value is connected to the output image...it is not.

    Please confirm this clarifies things?
