BlurXTerminator for comets?

Hi Adam,

I just joined your new Comet Academy, which is really great and helpful!
Just before the processing part, there is a recommendation for all 3 Russ Croman's XT tools as they would be part of the processing workflow.
The usage of SXT and NXT is obvious and greatly explained in detail.
But what about BXT? I couldn't find it in the workflows, and I am wondering if it makes sense at all and if yes - how to use it?
The motion of the comet is different to the motion of the stars, therefore the PSF might fail here.
I could imagine, if you have comet tracked data plus star tracked data with the same exposure (and from the same night), BXT might help.
Would be great, if you could shed some light on this.

    If you want to apply BXT to the comet only image you can with a manual (fixed and assumed round) PSF. I do not demonstrate this since none of the comets I have worked with required it. The nucleus (star like) would get smaller...but no other details. If the there are very bright details it is possible BXT would help.

    I did demonstrate BXT as part of the normal workflow for the background image. In my case, just correction only was fine. The background with possible nebulae and galaxies could of course benefit from BXT.
