Question, Meridian flip and treating flipped data

Folks I am a bit new and not sure how to treat the flipped data.  I know I saw this somewhere in fundamentals but I do not remember how Adam treated the data.  Last time I. encountered this I was at 58 of 60 and just dropped the last two.  Last night it was at 10 of 25 so I have to do something.   I was shooting Orion's Belt when it flipped.   One min the flame Nebula was on the lower left then after the flip the upper right.  If I was shooting raw files I would just go into PS and flip the files and go on but here I a not sure what to do.   Can someone offer some advice?

    In general you should not have take any action at all. Registration (StarAlignment) will figure out how to align the files whether they are flipped or not. Typically you might have a difference in image quality (not flipped state) that is causing the issue.

    So first figure out why there is this issue... it shouldn't be the flipping directly (though it could be something that is a consequence of it).

    Thank you Adam!  I actually have not processed this set of files yet.  I was trying to be proactive and prevent an issue.   Just John letting the "Murphy" get the better of me.   Thanks so much and have a great day.   Everything looked good today when I did the blink sans the flipped state.

    That being said... let Murphy do his thing. He is probably a better teacher than me. If you have patience and see the patterns, Murphy will be one of your greatest keys to success.
