WBPP and NSG script

Hi Adam or John,
When processing some color CMOS images through WBPP (V2.7.0) and the loading the registered, debayered images into NSG (V3.0.2) there is no Noise or ALT or Airmass showing. I attach the text file of the fits header for the registered image.

In WBPP these are unchecked: Subframe Weighting, Local Normalization, and Image Integration.
RA and DEC are showing in my Fits headers, but not Altitude. Is that where the ALT and Airmass coming from?
Noise has to be calculated, though.

So anything I can do to get the missing data to show?

Thanks,
     Roger

  • HI Adam,
I found the reason for the missing noise in Backyardastro.org forum where John Murphy answers NSG questions:

The latest version of the WBPP script no longer calculates the noise estimate by default. You have to select it:

WBPP: Pipeline tab > Subframe Weighting

I intend to update the NSG script to provide this advice if the noise estimates are missing.
