For some reason I cant seem to get this to work. Same target, 5 different nights with 5 different sets of lights, flats and flat darks. I have taken a screenshot but it doesn't seem WBPP is grouping, calibrating the flats and flat darks for separate nights but it appears to me it wants to combine them all.
1. You need to stretch your window more to see everything.
2. Use the Diagnostics Button to capture all of the WBPP screens with one push. All of the panels will help.
3. Take screenshots of your folder structure and filenames in the folders.
4. I doubt you took (or need) darks for each night you observed. Is this correct? Is so, that is an issue since you are assigning them a value.
Which leads me to believe you are using a keyword, perhaps a folder name, that is ALREADY IN THE FILENAME.
You can only have one keyword... if there are two only one (the last one?) will be used.
This is just a guess...but it is a dominant error people make. Why don't people name their folders Kermit, Piggy...etc like I suggest? lol It would sure save some confusion. :)
I got it to work. I have 1 Master dark, same exposure and gain as my lights. Each night, I took flats and flat darks for the session.
I got it to work. What I did, was one each "night" was a directory named Night_1, Night_2...etc and all the lights, flats and flat darks were put in a folder. Then I used the keyword Night and WBPP grouped and ran everything correctly.
Im a old fart and sometimes the obvious is hidden to me.
Thank you again, your teaching method and the way you respond and help out people here and the Pixinsight forums really speaks volumes to me and I appreciate it considerably. You are a incredible asset to the Astrophotography community.
