NBColourMapper 1.1 beta no longer available?

I got all set to try out the script on some Ha and RGB data, tried adding the beta version of the script by adding https://www.cosmicphotons.com/pi-scripts/nbcolourmapperTAICBeta/ and updating but I get a message that no updates are available. I was so ready to try continuum subtraction and compare it with my previous HaRGB image, but no such luck. Can we expect the 1.1 update shortly or is the beta version of it available and I'm just having a bad day?

Thanks!

  • The beta script should still be available from that repository. Have you previously successfully downloaded it? If so it looks like PixInsight has lost it somehow which does occasionally happen. I suggest in this case using the Reset Updates facility - it does mean that all the updates in your repository will need to be downloaded again. Having said that, if you haven't yet upgraded to the latest version of PixInsight it may be convenient to do that now which would also force a re-download of all scripts.
  • Thanks Mike. Yes, I've been using v1.0 of the script and it's brilliant! I upgraded to the latest PixInsight before trying to install the 1.1 Beta. I Reset Updates as you suggest and now I have the beta version working. I wonder if the PI update messed up my ability to get the beta version? No matter, all is well. I'm looking forward to experimenting with v1.1 beta. Cheers!
  • I spent some time learning the script and I've attached my first effort with it. I'm definitely going to be using this in the future. I really appreciate your and Adam's efforts on this. if you have any thoughts on how to improve this I'd certainly welcome them.
