Probe Tool M.I.A?

Hi everyone:
I just opened my project, and I hope it's a simple case of me clicking something I shouldn't have, but the readout of my probe tool has gone missing. The crosshairs are visible as I scroll around the image, but when I left click the mouse, I don't get the magnified box showing the readout values. Yes, I'm in readout mode. Any ideas?
