SPCC Question

All of a sudden my output graph as a result of applying SPCC has very few points. Don't know what I have changed (or what this actually means!). Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

  • This means:

    1. You literally have a few stars in your image.
    2. SPCC is not detecting the stars in your image.

We have to do a little more investigating to understand.
I have a number of videos that explain how #2 happens (and how to diagnose things).

  • Thank you. I don’t really know how I can solve #1. Should I try Image Solver before SPCC?. This was taken with a 1800mm FL reflector with a x .63 reducer (1400mm FL with extensions). I will look at your videos. Thanks again.
  • I would not yet assume this IS the problem. When you have less stars... other errors become important.
You need to post some images.
You did not stretch the image or do any kind of adjustment before SPCC correct?
    Is the focus good?

  • Sorry for the very late reply. I believe you are correct and it's a matter of too few stars. Thank you
