Hi, considering BlurX, I'd like to know if the Resample process prior to star removal is still relevant in a workflow and if so, would it be right after BlurX?
Resample perhaps applies to undersampled data (like crazy undersampled). There isn't a fixed order of operations. There are rules for each process. So you know you cannot resample before SPCC (will mess up the photometry maybe). Resample you would only do with certain kinds of data and before BXT because you are trying to help it. The same could also be true for SXT..to a lesser degree. NXT is likely to be after all of this activiity.
@BlockHead thank you, I appreciate the input. According to the calculations I've made, the equipment I own does not produce undersampled data in my seeing conditions so I'll skip resample and go straight in BlurX after SPCC.
