Can't find NSG Saved files

edited December 2022 in PixInsight
I ran NSG, followed by ImageIntegration (II).  Everything ran fine but I discovered two issues:

1- The output directory folder that I saved all of the files in is empty.

2- The final image produced from ImageIntegration was as expected, so I saved to a specific folder to use later.  When I went back to open it, only a starfield was there- no object was present.  However, if I re-open NSG and re-run the data still present, followed by II, the object is present! This happened with all three filters (Ha, OIII, SII) that I ran NSG followed by II.

    IH Bruce,

This might be too detailed for me to follow the logic without the data. A series of screenshots might help.
However @JohnMurphy might also be able to "see" what is going on just from your description.

  • ok- 4 screen shots

The first 2 show how I set things up and got the image.  The third should be the file location but it is empty.  The last SS compares what I produced on the left vs. that same file that I saved to reopen later.
