Adam Block ColorMask fix on Mac

Hi,

I have been trying to modify the ColorMask script per Adam's recent video.  I am using macOS Monterey and I can't get it to work.  It is easy enough to modify a copy of the file in another directory and then move it back.  But when I run it, I get an error that that the script is not signed.  Has anyone been able to make the modification to the ColorMask script on a Mac and can share how they did it?

  • The signature is located in the ColorMask.xsgn file in the same directory as the ColorMask.js file you are editing. Because you have changed the ColorMask.js file the existing signature is no longer valid. The simple workaround is simply to delete (or move) the ColorMask.xsgn file.
  • Thanks Mike!  I will give that a try.

Yes...I forgot to add that to the video...
    Thank you Mike.

  • That worked.  Thanks Mike and Adam for making this script usable.  I always struggled with it not doing what I expected.  Now I know why and it is much more usable now.  Thanks again Adam!  You continue to really help the Astro-imaging community!
