I am not sure if this is from flat field overcorrection or the cause, but I am having no luck on correcting this gradient with DBE or ABE. Any suggestions.
What does the raw frame look like? Does it show the same thing in the sense of darker in the middle and brighter to the edges? I am going to guess not and this is likely a calibration of the flat issue.
You will have to go into details of how you calibrated the flats and if you used WBPP... some screenshots of the setup would be good too.
I would concentrate on find the cause of this issue... rather than fix it by processing. I do, however, have a video that shows you how to HACK a flat..and force it not to overcorrect.
