Unable to produce a master light

I've gone through the FastTrack tutorial (three times) paying particular attention to each box to check, etc. No matter what I do, the end result is only a master bias and a master flat (note: I did not use darks). Why am I not generating a master light?

  • Hi Joe,

Very likely it is because you did not click on "Image Integration" .
(Take a screenshot of your 'PostProcssing" tab.)

BUT in FasTrack Training, I do not demonstrate this usage of WBPP.
Instead, I have you just calibrate the data and *then* using ImageIntegration to combine the data.
I do this because it is instructional to understand how things work (to look at the data and not use WBPP as a black box). It is also important to use this method because later (in Fundamentals and elsewhere) we normalize the data with NSG as an intermediate (but *best practice) step before ImageIntegration.

  • In the post processing tab none of the boxes can be clicked (i.e., image intergration as per your suggestion)

Much thanks for trying to help

  • P.S. In my calibrated folder I have the light frames but I do not show a 'debayered' or 'cosmetized' folder.
  • Exactly.
If you want WBPP to do image integration, you would need to check things in the Lights tab.
The same is true for Cosmetic Correction. You enable this in the Lights tab.

Concerning not seeing debayered, I notice you do not have a dark frame loaded in your first screen.
I am a bit concerned about that too!
