I examined the FITS Header FocalLength entry for several images and recovered values such as 3372.703, 3372.480, 3372.679, 3372.728, 3373.948, 3372.198, etc. Are they supposed to be identical? What could cause this? Is there a fix?
I do not think anything is wrong. When a plate solution is performed you will never come up with exactly the same focal length. This is a warning that PI isn't going to "pick" one of them to write to the FITs header of the combined image. That is OK. You likely do not need that information there. If you ever do.. you can add a value to the FITs header by hand of the combined image.
