FastIntegration : a script to rotate images ?

Hello, I just discover the FastIntegration videos and I was surprised to see Adam make a manual separation of files depending on the meridian flip rotation.
Could you help to make a script which evaluates the PIERSIDE value of the FitsHeader of files to make a rotation or not ?
A lot of time to be saved !
Thanks for your help.

  • Darn. I guess I should not have said it.
Listen, you don't have to flip anything at all. I did say that. However, since my data was not chronological and the frames were more random- giving FastIntegration pre-flipped images (it only took a second to do) saved time.

You would create an image container with all of the files to be flipped and use FastRotation to do the job.
You, as a human, need to find the files- there isn't a read the FitsHeader method that automates it.
(This is why including pierside in the file name can be helpful sometimes.)
