SPCC Failure

I have read with great interest Adam's suggestions for making SPCC work and they made sense to me.  Just read on Pixinsight Forum that Juan recommends changing the clamping threshold to 0.1.  Some even say that this works.  What is going on?  Can you explain this?

By the way, I seem to get a lot of failures when processing Telescope Live data.  Is this because they have stopped guiding?  Please comment.

  • The clamping threshold will minimize hard edges when Lanczos is used as the interpolation method ... especially as it related to undersampled data. Please reference the precise commentary or webpage that discusses your question... otherwise I pretty much look pretty dumb guessing at what is going on. The above is only a guess...I don't know is otherwise the answer.

With regards to TL data...again, you will need to be more specific. I am unaware of any systemic issues.
