Using the Gaia catalogs without downloading

I recently purchased Fasttrack/Fundamentals and started downloading the Gaia catalogs as instructed.  However, I realized after starting that I have insufficient disk space on my laptop to download all the files and leave me with any working space (about 20GB left after downloading).  The video mentioned that there is a way to use the catalogs without physically downloading them but didn't give any details.  How can I use the Gaia catalogs without downloading them to my laptop?

Hmm... with regards to GIAI..I believe you need to download them. You do not need to download all of them to save some space. However,...it might be time for you to get an external drive for more space.

Thanks.  I have an external drive but it is also mostly full.  It's only 250GB so I still probably need something larger.  I also use this laptop for my consulting business so I have some moderately large sample databases for that work.  I'm going to have to get a new laptop in the near future anyway.

I only asked because in the Fast Track introductory video, Adam mentioned in passing that there is a way to use the Gaia catalogs without downloading them.
