Hi Adam
I have been NB imaging for a few years, especially given my not-so-good imaging skies in Orlando. Lots of LP and high humidity with so-so seeing and transparency but NB works just fine. I watched your very interesting post on the Rosette NB techniques, and I learned a lot, especially the use of Ho and HS template modifiers. Now, don't gag when you see my image. It is only 5 hrs of so-so data and I created fake RGB stars using PM. It is not meant to compare to your beautiful image but rather a compliment to how such techniques help improve imaging under less-than-ideal conditions. Also, I have imaged the Rosette in the past for many hrs with the more traditional SHO color palettes (like the blue core and gold/red exterior regions). I purposely chose a very different color palette in this instance, the beauty of NB imaging. Thanks again for your demonstrations and very Happy New Year!
