How can I calibrate only certain images in WBPP?

I have two sets of data taken two years apart. For various reasons, I only have calibrated data for the old data. Is it possible to calibrate the new data then register the new and old calibrated data in WBPP?

Thanks,

Bernard

  • Hi,

Okay. I think I found the answer. I put the data that needs to be calibrated in a folder with keyword "Data_2022" and the data that does not need to be calibrated in folder with keyword "Data_2020". The data from 2020 contains the calibrated data but no calibration frames. The data for 2022 contains the raw lights along with the calibration frames. WPBB warns me the 2020 dat will be registered but not calibrated.

    Thanks,

    Bernard

  • This isn't a case I have come across yet- not a common one I think. However, yes, you are correct if you want to do it all in one go. You could have also run WBPP twice. Once to calibrate the new data. And a second time for all of the prost processing.
