I swear this is exactly what I typed. But when I cut and paste your address into the repository manager, It works. ???
I have been using a standard issue substitute script with only mixed success: "substitutewithpreview. I use this mostly for HDRMT. Sometimes it seems to blend flawlessly, other times boundries are readily apparent. Is there a secret in choosing the Preview? Will this script suffer from similar problems?
The copying of pixels is agnostic to any blending. You would need to specify a mask on the target frame (as I show in the video) in addition to use of the script.
HDRMT is a special case where, with appropriate settings, it matches (or leaves untouched) the local background brightness. So you can very often copy the HDRMT result directly over without a mask. However, this isn't always true- and in general I would say a mask is warranted.
But let me give you an example of a completely different kind of usage. Some people want their signatures or other graphics on their images. With this script you can easily put any graphic any place you want on a target view.
