AIC, 2019 vs today

Hi Adam,
This is just a thank you Adam post.

I went to the AIC website yesterday and signed up to be able to view the video presentation content. The last conference was 2019. I was surprised after viewing portions of the presentation videos.
-- The video quality makes them hard to watch, and this is understandable because as they are made with a video camera looking at a project screen (I think).
-- I am 100% spoiled by your excellent Adam Block Studies video quality (and your content).
-- Pixinsight has change so much, it is unbelievable that in 2019 you, as a leader in image processing technology, were presenting BPP. And just in the last 6 months there have been so many new tools introduced and improved.

Not a conference video, but to me your most impressive video is your YouTube video...  Pale Blue Dot reading of Carl Sagan. It is very powerful especially considering today's turbulent political and (bad) news events. Many could benefit from watching it and thinking about what they are doing in (to) this world.

Have a great conference!

Roger

  • Thanks Roger.
One of the things I have been spearheading at AIC is to record presentations from the SCREEN as people talk. In another words... similar to video content just like what I do.

So this year we are trying this...and hopefully it will work better.
