Adam,

Do you think the Local Normalization step now including within WBPP of PI 1.8.9 can be used as a substitute for NSG, or are they separate and different means to be used consecutively? 

Thanks for any thoughts. Just noting that the WBPP menu of 1.8.9 does no longer contain NSG.

I think this is a longer term thing to compare the two methods and determine realms of applicability. Previously it was demonstrably that the algorithms being used in imageIntegration were failing spectacularly. Now this are improvements...so more analysis needs to be done. I will be looking into it..but it is a non-trivial thing to do.
