NGC6946 Batch PreProcessing Error Calculating Flat Frames
In the first video in this Cosmic Canvas, Adam initially uses IntegerResample to down-sample the binned 1x1 AutoFlats to 2x2.
In the data provide, there are two sets of AutoFlat data, the original binned at 1x1 and a second that has already been binned to 2x2.
If you follow Adam's steps of down-sampling the original AutoFlats and then proceed to the second step of Batch PreProcesing, you may possibly see this, "Error calibrating flat frames", while the script.
This error is the result of the Batch PreProcessing Script using an IntegerResample generated image with image thumbnails enabled.
To resolve this issue or disable the creation of image thumbnails, go to: Edit > Global Preferences:
Then select File I/O Settings, uncheck “Enable thumbnail embedding by default”.
Then select File I/O Settings, uncheck “Enable thumbnail embedding by default”.
Click on “Apply Global”
Now when executing the IntegerResample on the original flats, everything works as shown in the video…
