Masked Stretch

I've been using Masked Stretch lately, and while it seems to work fine, sometimes in can take a very long time.  In particular, when I use it on a B&W Luminance image, its almost instantaneous.  However, when I use it on a color RGB image, it can take a very long time -- 15 minutes is not uncommon.  Do I have some sort of weird configuration?  Should I do something different?

Hmm...

I do not think there is anything to do. However, when you operate on color images the time should be multiplied by 3. It is effectively doing its thing on each channel- and then there might be additional stuff. However, my experience is that even on a color image it doesn't take 15 minutes long.... though I have not done this recently and it likely depends on the size of the image.
