Files/Directories management questions

Adam,
I process my images using only SSD storage. Now I bought an external HDD, and want to move the entire directory for the galaxy to the new HDD. 
Will the PI Project (copied also with other files to the HDD) still find the files, etc it needs to function?
Do you do similar?

    Yes, PI uses relative paths for the projects, so you can move the project and its associated directory I believe.
