Batch stretch subs and save as jpeg?

I asked this on FB a while back and Blink was suggested as a solution but I never managed to get it to work, so am hoping someone can help.

I am debugging some issues and building a database of stretched subs saved as jpegs, it is a painful exercise doing an auto-STF and then dragging to HT one at a time, can anyone suggest a quick method?

TIA

  • Blink really does do this.
    What was the issue?

  • Sounds like it was me, I will try it again and report back :)

  • I got it working except the filenames all get overwritten with Blink0000n.jpg (n=1, 2, 3, ....). I'm guessing this is to allow the video creation to pick up the files later but is there a way to keep the original filenames?
  • Ah...I think there is... but for my past purposes (just to create an animation) I have not needed to worry about it.

What you really need is Batch Save and Convert to take your files and save as JPEG..but apply either the current or auto-STF to the files before saving.

Blink is effectively doing this... but... it loses the filename. Off the top my head, I do not know how to do this in PI. I do know how to do it in CCDStack. lol

(Just open the files in CCDSTack, apply the auto-screen stretch to all images and save as Jpeg. FIlenames will be maintained.

  • Ok thanks Adam I will take a look at CCD Stack.
I did make some progress using an Image container and dragging images onto an "STF-preloaded" HT, which works but only if the images are very similar as it uses a single stretch value.
  • YEah... that would not be adaptive.
