I subscribed to a scope in NM and they have sent me a data set of M92 with the LRGBs exposed at 60, 300 and 600 seconds. Are there any videos on the site that would address how best to process this kind of data?
I would consider this kind of thing Horizons content. It isn't "fundamental" because it is more specific in terms of processing. Yes, in a way I touch on this- but I do not have a good example. You did not explicitly ask- and I dislike assuming- but guessing is OK- so I am guessing you intend to take advantage of the short exposures because the core is saturated, using a process like HDRComposition?
But is the core really saturated? If not, it may be that HDRMT or masked stretch will do a much better job.
