Cassiopeia Imaging Filter?

Hello,

I've recently watched the Cassiopeia videos in the new Fundamentals workflow.  I was curious which filter you used to get the fuzzy stars.  My wife loves constellation images and I think that I might want to give it a try.

I purchased a Tiffen Fog Filter. 

Took me forever to figure out what Akira et al used... finally found some mentions of it.
