Future request

Hi Adam,

the videos you just released about SubFrameSelector –thank god it's a process now instead of a script– really got me on the right track when it comes to qualifying my data. When it comes to make up an expression in the "approved" or "weight" in SFS: that's really looks difficult to me. The same with the expressions used in PixelMath. I'd really like a tutorial about that.

Second request (yes, I'll keep you busy): could you explain how to add Ha data into RGB? I'm very lucky to have my own observatory, so I can shoot any clear night. Very often I start during dawn making Ha frames. and the same during dusk. The Ha is not that sensitive to a sky that's not that dark. Whether it's a galaxy or an emission nebula, I always have problems integrating the Ha data into the RGB. Thanks in advance! Jeroen

  • Hi Jeroen,

Have you had a chance to watch the PixelMath lessons yet? They are a part of Fundamentals.
The Ha blending is shown in the Horizons set of content. I do not consider this "Fundamental"... but instead it goes to next step since it is more complex and more arbitrary/artistic.
