That Rush of Good Feeling You Get When The Training Works and You Solve An Image Issue!

I am catching up on processing a lot of the images I've taken. I start processing the Rosette nebula data this afternoon.

When I used DBExtract on the Ha_OIII and SII_OIII the Ha was fine, the SII was fine but the OIII was a mess. Two patterns of stars shifted on the image.

I have a tight tolerence in NINA when I align/rotate/center with an image as the reference - but obviously its not tight enough.

I used the coordinate align script using the Ha_OIII as the reference, and BINGO! After running the two images again thru DBExtract, the OIII was perfect.

There is a similar issue with the Jellyfish nebula images that I already processed - only its worse because I did not realize there was a manual rotator option in NINA to "match" image alignment from a previous sessions. So I continued processing with just the Ha_OIII data.

Going to go revisit that when I'm done with the Rosette.

Its a good feeling - thanks to these videos.
