Adam's new website.

So I'm really confused after looking around https://rudlalsie.subhub.net/

I'm a current Fundamentals and Horizons subscriber.   I have access to all of Adams videos past, present and future.

What do I buy on the new website for equivalent access?

The Infinity subscription isn't clear on access to all existing content.

Also, will my current lifetime Fundamentals subscription transfer to the new website or do I have to purchase access to these videos again?

So confused.

Please just tell me what to buy to have access to all past, present, and future videos.   And tell me when I need to buy.

    Hi John,

    You looked around...great!
    (Did you read my e-mail?)

I specifically point our you do not need to buy anything.
I explain that Fundamentals is equivalent to the combination of the first two bundles of courses (JumpStart and Core).
Indeed, you will find you have additional content in there now if you look very closely.

    Horizons = BreakThrough + Infinity

The infinity subscription is a departure from what I was doing.
Now this is the place I will release any new content on a day-by-day basis.

I will make new courses. For example, you will see on my new site I am building the ImageBlend (Script) course. That is completely new, as is the LIghtning Demos course. Go forward when I make new courses- everyone (members or not) will purchase them if they are of interest. However... and this is the key... a lot of the information found in new courses will be published in the Infinity Subscription.

Hopefully this explains what is going on. I am making easier to organize and find content. I am also making it easier, I hope, to see the new stuff when I make it.

  • Can I get a little clarity on

"However... and this is the key... a lot of the information found in new courses will be published in the Infinity Subscription"

'A lot' doesn't seem to imply 'all' so is there a way for me to know when such new content (new but not in Infinity) is published so I can have a chance learn about it and purchase it?

I'm still looking for what I'd need to do to see everything you publish; past, present, future.

    Thanks.
  • When I publish a new edition of an already existing course (to update it)  you can look at the titles of the videos to see if you "need" to get it or if I covered enough of the material through your access to the Infinity Subscription.

You will always know when new content (a new course) comes into being or is published. If you look at my new site the Featured Courses shows you all that exists.

There will be an option to buy all current bundles plus the Infinity subscription (which if you do this, I just add the first year of the subscription to be free). However, there will not be an option to pre-purchase courses I have not made. I am changing my model a little bit here.

I cannot price the subscription fee to be high enough to cover the work I put into making new courses (or updating them).

Just consider I have updated (re-done from scratch) FastTrack Training 4 times in the past 7 years. So someone that purchased FastTrack Training some odd years ago has benefited quite a bit. I think my solution of having a Subscription that shows you content that goes into courses is good- but any new course or edition is a brand new purchase. I can't promise 100% of everything I do will be part of the subscription...it is only $75 per year. But I think that is quite a savings compared to just getting new editions. Again, you can always compare what you have to what might be new to see if it is what you want/need.

  • One more thing...
It is not like there will not be guidance.
Just to keep with FastTrack Training. If I make a new edition- I will make an announcement to all members and explain some of the updates and whether it is "significant"... which it probably will be if I am doing a major update. But you will not be in the dark...you will be informed!

A completely new course, like ImageBlend Laboratory- many but not all of the lessons will flow through the subscription. You will be able to see soon enough how many/few this is and judge me on the merits. :)
I do think my track record of over-sharing is good.

  • One other small difference I noticed is that on the old site you could playback the videos in 1x, 1.5x, 2x, 2.5x 3x

But the new website's max playback speed is 2x.   I personally found the 2.5x useful.

Is this something that can be brought over to the new website?
  • Interesting.
If you look at my current (old) website and check out the videos on the main page when you log in (the intro videos) you will see they are also only 2x speed... yet the videos on my site associated with content are 3x.

So... I will have to wait and see if this follows with the new site. This was a customization I paid for... so it should go through. However, I am not certain if the player is an exact match.
