Dark Frames of Different Length

In the Fast Track data, there are two sets of dark frames with different exposure lengths.
I have a Celestron Origin that comes with a single master Factory dark frame.
What is the purpose of having different sets of "dark frames"?

Hi Joseph,
Could you do me a favor and watch the video I put together on Astonomical Image Processing?

I think you are asking about darks for the flat field images and darks for light frames. Is this correct?
