Microsoft Edge Update Prompt? A Warning Perhaps?

A couple of times before logging in a Microsoft "appearing" pages appears that says Microsoft Edge is out of date and keep the web experience smooth by updating to the current version.  It all looks very official and proper but thankfully Windows 11 flags the download as harmful. I have only ever gotten this while trying to get to this website. If I close out and launch again, I get to the normal ABS landing page. 

Just a heads up and wonder if anyone else has seen this?

I am loving the Fundamentals course work. It is just what I needed.  Thank you Adam for being a great instructor.

    I have been seeing this as well!!!
    (Except for me it is a CHROME update.)

    This appears real to me. I will need to send out an e-mail about this I think.
    I think there might be something on my site's platform that is causing this.

    Glad I could point it out if it is indeed coming from ABS somehow. I am not savvy in these things, but I just thought I would see if the community had seen it as well. Do keep me posted and again great courses, you are costing me sleep!

    I've seen the same thing for Chrome.  I ignored it and closed the browser and reopened Chrome to checked for updates and Chrome reported no updates are available (?)  

    For me it happens when I try to close Chrome after watching Fundamentals videos.

    Hi Audie,

    They did find a bit of malware on my site!
    However this morning it was removed.
    I have not experienced any other problems since. I think we got it.

    Glad it was Xterminated and glad I spoke up. I was almost not going to mention it. Now back to learning PI!

    Adam... FYI... I just got the "update Edge" screen when going to the ABS home screen.  Looks like this issue has not gone away yet.

    Thanks for the feedback. Could you try using an incognito window and see if you can still get it to do this?

    Okay... this is whacked.

    I got the "update edge" screen again this morning when attempting to logon to ABS.  However, I tried again and didn't get it.  Seems to be almost random.  I then tried it with the incognito window and didn't have the problem... but don't know if this is also random.

    This is the kind of problem that will drive you nuts.

    Ron,

    I was told by the devs that it is likely the issue is cached in your browser. This is why you do not see it when incognito. I was asked to tell members to clear their browser cache and all should be well.
