Bay Photo Lab icc profile and PI . . . can PI leverage the icc profile?
I'm not 100% clear on exactly what this ic profile is at the technical level, but I know it is supposed to help me see what will be printed . . . I believe the 'soft proof' has something to do with this icc profile.
Can PI make use of this? If not, I don't have photoshop, but have downloaded GIMP as I believe I can soft proof via that . . . I don't need to do a high level professional print . . .so I just need to get my soft proof 'close enough' so I can get some sample panels printed at Bay, then get my final product at the larger size.
Thanks y'all for any help . . .I'm not going to go buy some device to fully calibrate my monitor--just need to get close enough. Adam has mentioned using the test prints as a good way to do this, so I'm going with that, just need to figure out the technical side of how to leverage this icc thing.
