Mure Denoise on Drizzle Integrated Images

I frequently use drizzle integration on images downloaded from Telescope Live.  Can Mure Denoise be used on Drizzle Integrated images?  If so what are the considerations with the Mure Denoise parameters on drizzled data?  

Also, I download flats, biases, and flat darks  to calculate the Mure Denoise Detector Settings.  I also download image bundles imaged over time from Telescope Live.  My thinking is that the read noise and gain is fairly stable over time.  Therefore frequent downloading recalculating gain and read noise to coincide with the image bundle is not necessary.  Is my thinking correct here?

Finally, is Mure Denoise applicable to both CCD and CMOS detectors?

I apologize if you already addressed this in your videos.  What I did get from your videos is the value of Mure Denoise.

I do not think that played well with drizzled images as I recall. 

Your thinking is certainly correct regarding the sensor characterization assuming they are not changing cameras frequently (they aren't).

I would think MD applies to both CCD and CMOS sensors.

However..the calculation of the GAIN for CMOS is not straight forward. The two flats and two biases method does not allows hold because many cameras have different modes of operation that affect this measurement.

Nowadays...I just use NoiseXTerminator. It is far more controllable and not parameters to mess with...and better results. 

I am not certain what I want to do with content like MureDenoise. I feel I do not want to remove it entirely...but I also want to signal it is no longer preferred.

I agree with your advise on using NoiseXTerminator.  

I did find your videos on MD very insightful and would like to keep it and use it as a tool to explore.
