How might I sharpen just the bubble, to make it more prominent, without compromising the rest of the image? Other feedback on this would also be appreciated!
It appears to me you are asking to adjust the image from this point. However, this rendering appears to have been stretched too much to do what you want. I suspect you were concentrating on the faintest nebulosity (to the right) and allowed the other two nebulae to become overbrightened leading to a decrease in contrast.
My opinion is that you might consider a different approach to the stretch that got you to this point. As I mention in Stretch Academy, it is very easy to back yourself into a corner with the permanent choices that occur during stretching. It think that is what you have done.
Probably the basic tool you need is HDRMT at some slightly earlier point in stretching. I doubt if you do it hear the results would be great. You would need to couple this process with additional contrast using your favorite tool (unsharp mask, LHE, high pass filtering...etc ).
Then you will have a distinct bubble and more detail in the nebula to the upper left.
