Horizons subscription

I haven't found any clear information about the Horizons subscription model in the forum or on the Horizons website. Is access to the Horizons videos stopped after one year? That would mean that after one year I should have seen all the videos that are of interest to me. Alternatively, I could download them all with an additional purchase of $20. Both scenarios are extremely unattractive. Can someone clarify the situation?

Thank you
Robert

  • The way Horizons works is that you pay an initial fee to get in and access everything. Currently this is $275.
After that it is $75 annually to maintain the access. If you let your subscription lapse.... then you will need to pay the full amount to get back in! (Don't do that!)

The idea is that I constantly add videos to Horizons- it isn't a fixed set of videos.
The download option is a way to watch videos off-line or mitigate the vagaries of streaming that some people deal with.

    Thanks!
