Dual-Band Techniques

Hi Adam,

I have been really enjoying Narrowband FastTrack, it's got HEAPS of useful information.

I do have a question regarding the techniques you have shown for processing dual-band images. Is the workflow you outline generally applicable for all targets, or would there be subtle difference with some targets such as the Veil Nebula where there is a lot of OIII mixed in with Ha compared to say the Eagle Nebula?

    I do think there would be a difference in choices you make in terms of how to map the colors or blend images.  Is this is a difference in workflow? I am not convinced.

    Awesome, thanks Adam.

    I've been playing around with NBColourMapper on my Ha channel from my dual-band image of NGC 6914. I am not sure if this is "correct", but I am inspired to try new things thanks to Narrowband FastTrack.

    I ended up using the extracted Ha as a luminance which turned out good. I think I can use these new techniques for a lot of things that I thought weren't possible now.
