New WBPP script

Hi Adam,
Can you do a presentation on the new WBPP script?
Thanks,

  • Yeah...I will need to do this. I am not thrilled actually... since I am still not convinced in the overall S/N weighting scheme works as well as advertised. So I am a slow adopter. I think I need to do the SubFrameSelector section first...

Unfortunately I received more than praise from attendees of the Advanced Imaging Conference...and I am still in the throes of misery- my voice was not spared.

    Thanks Ed!

  • Hi Adam,
The new WBPP Script works fine.
If you create a presentation for this new script then it would be great if you can give some informations about the differences in the use with a CCD or CMOS camera, the use of flat-darks and perhaps some words about dithering (beyound which count of images).
I think that this new script will replace the old one.
    Thanks

  • Sounds promising. Thanks Ed.
At the moment...I think I might have the flu... so I am a bit out of commission... but as soon as I feel better..I will get on it.
  • Hi Adam
I wish you all the best and again a robust health !
A short addition to my file concerning WBPP: I have shown all your videos about BPP and Image Integration and this gave me the question to use the WBPP for calibration and registration, but without the integration.
The question which remains is: How great is the difference between the two methods of registration - manually and with WBBP.
    Greetings
    Ed
